Denver based electronic music trio Hostage Situation has rapidly emerged as a formidable force in the bass music scene since forming in 2021. With a distinctive brand centered around "taking the crowd hostage" during their high energy performances, they've built a devoted following through their versatile approach to dubstep, riddim, and emotionally driven bass music. Their trajectory includes sold out headline shows at The Black Box, Meow Wolf Denver, and The Gothic Theatre, plus festival appearances at Decadence NYE Colorado, Forbidden Kingdom, Dancefestopia, and Wakaan.In October 2025, they released their sophomore album Hostile Frequencies, a 20 track opus that has generated over 457k Spotify streams since release.
