Techno alias of Dutch DJ/producer Oliver Heldens, created in 2015 as a palindrome of "Oli H." HI-LO channels Heldens' darker, bassline-driven side, drawing on techno, acid techno, and future house. His Greek mythology-inspired singles "Zeus," "Kronos," and "Athena" broke into the top 10 most-supported techno tracks on 1001Tracklists in 2020, and by 2022 he was crowned the #1 best-selling techno artist on Beatport. His debut EP "Hypnos" landed on Drumcode with support from Adam Beyer and Joseph Capriati. He also runs the HILOMATIK label.
